Making a Difference in
Students’ Lives

Dear Friends and Fellow Lake Elsinore Valley Residents

As a School Board member, I am proud to report that our district:

• Lowered operating expenses by more than $30 million during the state fiscal crisis
  while maintaining sports, art, music and all other enrichment programs.
• Kept 99 percent of teachers, support staff and administrators employed during
  state fiscal crisis while maintaining smaller class sizes.
• Added more than 50 new positions for new child care program
• Funded 9 new Compressed Natural Gas school buses – they’re good for the
  environment and they save our district thousands of dollars in fuel and repair costs
• Funded $21 Million for school expansion/modernazition, Career Technical Training & Traffic Improvements.
